Deal desk coordination is focused on driving deals through a complex, internal approval and qualification process and ensuring compliance with the client policies.
the role also supports the client sales community regarding deal approvals, qualification, and the dynamics crm system which is used for recording sales at the client.
the role would report into the area deal management deputy lead, with oversight from the deal management lead.
the requirement would be to provide cover for the area deal management deputy lead if/when required.
provide sales process support to client teams, leadership, other internal operations teams and interfacing functional areas.

primary responsibilities include: - deal desk coordination of cross-regional deals - track and monitor opportunities throughout the deal lifecycle, from opportunity creation to closure, aiding deal teams in the reconciliation of all deal aspects (e.g.
artefacts, c365 setup) taking accountability of all aspects of the deal desk - mailbox management, continuously communicating with team members on actions completed - manage incoming requests, with fast and accurate responses - review deals for readiness, quality, and set expectations with bd's - ensure the attendance of key members at meetings and monitor delegations.
confidently reach out to attendees at the last minute and maintain composure while working under pressure before a call - preparing for qualification & deal review meetings, where quick thinking is essential - record notes and actions during qualification & deal review calls.
this requires fast typing skills and the ability to quickly understand the details of the deal - process deals for re-approval as and when required, calling out and managing any below floor approval requirements - responding to closure requests, preparing and sending out readiness checks to deal owners - compliance - enforce compliance with appropriate policies/standard processes and support internal investigations of policy violations regarding contracts/deals as needed - subject matter expert - act as consultant to deal/contract owners on business side to guide them through the review process in a timely manner - communicate changes on deal review related policies and oms updates - provides process management and related support services to enforce adherence to standard methods - complete understanding of the deal approval matrix - others - work independently with minimal supervision - be an individual contributor with ability to recognize and seek guidance on competing priorities - may supervise and be a people lead for a small team with oversight from a supervisor - help create and execute low to medium complexity workplans - interact confidently with senior leadership within sphere of responsibility - demonstrate knowledge of supporting tools and processes, with expertise in specific area of responsibility
