job purpose
oversee daily operations of the human resources department to ensure efficient and accurate workflow, including supervision of hr staff. Responsible for recruitment of new hires, oversees the delegation of onboarding, offboarding, us payroll/taxes, hris maintenance and benefits to hr generalist. Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Plans, leads, and implements policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs. Provides leadership and guidance in the development of short and long range plans as well as gathers and reports on data relating to employment trends.

* key items such as payroll/tax/audits are completed within deadlines

job qualifications
* college education preferred
* a minimum of 5 - 7 years of payroll/hr experience
* strong knowledge of benefit administration/compensation & payroll
* strong knowledge of compliance and labor law
* strong interpersonal and communication skills
* leadership in guiding employees to their potential, solving problems, and helping company success
* organizational skills and strategic thinking
* fluent in english and spanish is desirable
