.job description: activities:- production support & process development.- steel and aluminum welding experience- welder qualification process management.- mentorship of weld technicians.- startup operations for new product lines.- assuring facility complies with awp welding standards- developing and maintaining manufacturing methods, standards, and practices.- defining and implementing weld cell layouts.- periodic audits of weld and fabrication processes, implementing corrective actions where gaps are identified.- support plant wide projects requiring engineering support- support the division welding council, identifying and promoting new and emerging technologies that will result in lower operating costs and improved quality.- equipment maintenance, repair and replacements strategy and process.requirements:- b.s.
degree in engineering.
mechanical or manufacturing engineering technology.
