Circana is proud to be certified by great place to work.as a director, hr project management and employee relations, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for developing and enhancing hr project management and employee relations strategies. You will ensure seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and best-in-class employee experience. Partnering closely with various hr teams, business leaders, and external stakeholders, you will be an influential leader with key ownership in our er, compliance, and hr project space.job responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to):employee relations (er) development and managementreinvent and redefine our employee relations and compliance function with the core delivery of an er and compliance playbook, involving feedback from key stakeholders.develop and approve comprehensive policies and frameworks that support er and compliance.drive company awareness and understanding for er and compliance.improve compliance with er policies and reduce the number of incidents and grievances.provide guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.coach and develop key hr partners (hrbps, l&d, hr ops, and others) on er and compliance matters, with the creation and use of internal and external resources to create stronger rigor.ensure global application of critical er and compliance policies, guidelines, and working norms.maintain clear and open communication with employees throughout the case resolution process to build trust and ensure fairness.serve as primary owner to mature and develop our practices, with other duties as assigned/required.hr project managementlead and manage key hr initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.collaborate with other hr departments for continuous improvement (ci) projects, initiatives, and products.own/co-own multiple hr products throughout the year, focusing on enhancing and sustainably expanding hr ops support in key hr disciplines and building future standards to operationalize non-technical project/product management.develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.coordinate effectively with key partners, including hr systems and technology, hr operations leadership, stakeholders across the hr function, legal, finance, procurement, payroll, and it.visual management and compliance trackingwith support of legal, drive visual management into er and compliance tracking with a harmonized approach for global compliance, with critical definitions and metrics determined.establish tracking mechanism for investigations and complaints, harmonized with global compliance.implement visual management tools to create data-oriented content that leads to data-based decisions.use data analytics to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of interventions, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.regularly review and update policies based on feedback and compliance trends to ensure they remain effective and relevant.drive effective communication strategies on data trends and outcomes with senior circana leadership as required.policy updates and legislative compliancemonitor and analyze changes in state, federal, and international laws and regulations that impact hr policies and practice; serve as sounding board and leader to actively adjust approaches where required.collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure hr policies are updated in accordance with new legislation.develop and implement strategies to communicate policy changes to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.conduct regular audits to ensure hr practices are compliant with current laws and regulations.provide training and resources to hr team members and employees on new legislative requirements and policy updates.maintain a proactive approach to legislative changes, ensuring the organization remains compliant and minimizes risk.mergers & acquisitions (m&a) supportact as a stream lead for m&a activities, providing support and offloading tasks from senior leaders where needed.learn and apply critical m&a skillsets from experts within the organization.ensure smooth integration of employees and hr processes during m&a activities.qualificationsfive to ten years of prior hr project management and employee relations experience required within global organizations exceeding 500 employees.bachelor’s degree in human resources, legal, project management or related disciplines.prior experience in employee relations, labor relations, project management, or hr generalist / business partner preferred.certification in pmp, shrm-cp/scp, or related subject preferred.strong understanding of global hr compliance standards and best practices.proven experience in leading hr projects and initiatives.adaptability and problem-solving abilities in complex, fast-paced environments.self-starter with proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to sops.knowledge, skills and abilities:strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on results.strong leadership and team management skills.ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, necessary to assist employees and multiple internal departments.good verbal and written communication skills.understand and connect information from different sources to take appropriate action.proven ability to achieve results through independent and/or collaborative work.ability to work and maintain flexible hours as needed to support a global business.as well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization.
