Join the team for enabling, maintenance, and support of the test content for server platforms.
we are looking for a python developer (intern) with interest in quality assurance and testing automation to work closely with intel drivers design teams and be responsible for all test content development utilized for the compatibility validation stages of the program.
*responsibilities include, but are not limited to*:
- reading requirements and provide feedback on how the features will be tested.
- hands-on hardware set up and maintenance.
- documenting the automation flows for the test cases.
developing automated test cases in python.
- collaborating with other teams to trouble shoot issues.
- debugging of issues reported by validation to find the root cause of the problems found in the test content.
- providing code fixes for defects found in automated test cases during the validation phase before the product to be out on the market.
- defect management for bugs assigned in order to properly document progress and solutions.
*qualifications*
requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
*minimum qualifications*:
- 1+ year of experience with python programming.
- 1+ year of experience in software engineering processes, principles, and product life cycles.
- 1+ year of experience with object oriented programming.
- 6+ months of experience in hw components.
- 6+ months experience in source code management (git).
- advanced english level.
*preferred qualifications*:
- basic concepts of quality assurance.
- basic experience in unix based oss.
- basic experience in automation flows documentation.
- basic experience in code debugging and troubleshooting.
