the responsible sourcing operation team (rso), aims to ensure that the lego group's ethical, social and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners and lego production sites
these requirements are set out in the lego group responsible business principles (rbp) that all suppliers and license partners must adhere to.
the rbp has a key focus ensuring that anyone involved in producing lego products have fair and decent working conditions, as well as safeguarding children and minimizing environmental impacts.
*core responsibilities*
under the guidance of senior manager of rso team, manage the implementation of rbp management in the americas (mexico, us, brazil, known as amer) supply chain, including both lego sites, suppliers and licensing partners of the lego group
ongoing compliance work includes scheduling and following up on audits in amer region.
reviewing and assessing audit reports, following up corrective action plan.
engaging with lego owned sites, suppliers and licensing partners on rbp implementation, identifying root causes of non-compliances found at audit (or otherwise, such as through grievance mechanisms or data submitted to the lego group) and encouraging continuous improvement
implement the global rs pivotal initiatives in amer region, e.g.
capability building programming, including supporting the development and delivery of guidelines, training courses and tools with suppliers; grievance mechanisms; etc.

- 5+ years of experience in managing social compliance within retail or supply chains, ideally working for a global brand or in an international environment.
bachelor's degree or master in related field of supply chain social compliance, quality management will be a plus.
- experience with working in a global environment, with different cultures and time zones with manager in another region.
able to work autonomous, self/driven individual.
demonstrate ownership of assigned area of responsibility
- you will be confident in mapping and assessing social compliance risk and presenting this to key partners
- you'll be experienced in reading and analyzing social audits, with expertise across a range of audit types (smeta, icti/ietp, sa8000, bsci, rba etc.)
- you preferably have experience in developing new learning and evaluation tools or guidance documents for internal and external use globally.
you have the bravery to bring bold, differentiated, and interesting ideas to the table.
you are resilient and prepared to work in an agile environment
- you possess proven knowledge and deep interest in international human and labor rights and csr standards
- you focus on getting results in complex organizations, involving many different partners and using your influential skills.
you have a collaborative approach, where you bring your knowledge while focusing on understanding root causes before co-creating the best solutions
- able to travel within ams region (méxico, brazil, usa) and some occasional denmark or europe travel a couple of times a year.
