more specifically, you will develop and grow market linkage strategies that enable profitable adoption of the hp managed services space, with a focus on insights and growth initiatives.
services is a suite of solutions that blends hp’s hardware, supplies, software, leasing, and services into a seamless offering focused on efficient and cost-effective management of enterprise-wide pcs. Workforce solutions is a $4b plus annual business with high growth potential and expectations.
the scope of this role is mainly for latin america business.
as a finance analyst for latin america, you will:
* managed services: lead the financial and commercial aspects of multi-year, multi-million-dollar workforce solutions deals, ensuring they meet profit objectives and comply with agreed-upon financial terms and conditions.
* strategic focus: emphasize revenue maximization, cost reduction, margin improvement, and financial/commercial risk mitigation through cross-functional leadership and coordination with workforce solutions pursuit teams, opportunity consultants, client managers, delivery leads, and market business & finance teams, to increase profitability.
* daily activities: engage in p&l reporting, budgeting, deal reviews, margin improvement reviews, plan or record comparison, revenue recognition, and transparent information flow to decision-makers.
* financial acumen: sharpen commercial, business, and financial acumen skills in a complex, high-paced, and ever-changing services/contractual business environment.
* contract management: maintain robust deal p&l forecasts, understand contract terms, provide cost accruals, and bridge deal plan of record and actual account performance.
* collaboration: interface with service delivery managers, workforce solutions global business unit, market finance teams, market business management, and customer operations teams.

education & experience recommended
* four-year or graduate degree in business administration, economics, finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
* typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
