your mission, roles and responsibilities
overall responsibilities and duties:
1. organize and distribute the work among the personnel under his charge and verify that the product complies with the specifications established in the operating instructions, to guarantee the fulfillment of the production programs with the required quality indexes and at the required productivity level.
2. process control.
3. rapid response meeting leader (customer claims / internal defects management / warranty claims / fast response / top 1 defects / final inspection / process / nc detected in process audits).
4. daily meeting with mod and management.
5. analysis and solution of quality problems.
6. daily review of internal quality level.
7. daily review of efficiency and productivity per area.
8. proposal of weekly production schedule (sequence & priorities).
9. daily review of compliance to shipment.
10. set up / process change management.
11. ok first part (set up/puesta a punto/ pkyk).
12. risk assessment.
13. daily quality basics review.
14. daily follow up of lean tools implementation.
15. 5s leader.
16. scrap declaration.
17. daily follow up to negatives inventories, cycle counts, cogis & sap inventories.
18. improvement ideas follow up.
support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems.
your profile and competencies to succeed
qualifications
the ideal candidate will have/be:
1. minimum education level: process, industrial or electronic engineering.
2. language: fluent english.
3. minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
experience:
1. minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
2. basic knowledge of lean manufacturing (tpm, smed, cycle time).
3. strong knowledge of leading people.
skills and competencies:
1. ability to train and coach direct operators.
2. continuous improvement mindset.
3. problem diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans.
4. basic knowledge of iatf 16949, 14001, 45001.
5. leadership to improvements.
6. basic knowledge of mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards.
7. knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
