develop product positioning and messaging in the form of a clear value proposition that differentiates the products in the market.

- sales team training, effectively communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop sales tools that enable and support the selling process of the product
- own local execution of the new product launch process as it applies to the segment
- develop and implement exciting demand creation initiatives, both traditional and digital that drive demand for the product
- support for opex on demand planning and forecasting activities
- develop strong training material and conducts trainings both internally and externally
- provide technical support for customer service and other internal customers
- support sales on major products demonstrations, seminars and trade shows
- work in partnership with marcom to regionalize collateral material for existing and new products (ex, content, social media content, web content, technical papers, presentations, sales tools, etc.) and collaborate with the strategy for marketing digital campaigns.

lead the creation of the segment strategy incorporating marketing campaigns, digital presence, market/industry positioning, customer education, advertising/promotions, sponsorships.
- identify, quantify, prioritize & develop target customer lists for the major segments in alignment with corporate strategy.
- work with sales in driving revenue through customer-facing visits and strong technical support.
- develop and drive implementation of exciting demand creation programs on key customers and support major quotations and/or bids in partnership with the sales team.
- participate in regional steering team meetings for the specific segment, with gst participation as requested
consolidate and report on market conditions, competitive developments, industry and technology trends, market size and share by segment and market growth rates
- communicate market conditions to appropriate organizational stakeholders (sales, product development, etc.)
- active participation on local safety product and/or market segment standard committees
- keep segment website area updated

high level requirements of position:
experience (required):
- deep knowledge in products, standards and regulations of the safety industry
- technical sales process and/or customer facing role experience
- profile: analytic, business insight and entrepreneurship
- 5 years of business experience, 3 years' experience in marketing
- product line management experience (industrial, chemical or retail)
- second language: english spoken and written (proficiency)
- work experience interacting with customers or distributors.
