.dupont water & protection is looking for a pricing & rebate specialist, to join to the global pricing & rebate team to help shape the future! Based out of polanco - mexico city - mx, the pricing & rebate specialist will be the expert for latin america region. This is part of an international pricing & rebates team with which there is an active collaboration. The pricing & rebates specialist works closely with the commercial organization, marketing/product departments, and customer service to ensure price records are managed and maintained accurately as well providing support for granting the right payment to the customers for the rebate agreements in place. The specialist reports to the global pricing & rebates team leader based in latin america.*mains activities may include*:- managing the pricing and rebate activities: making sure they are performed in a timely manner with high efficiency and compliant to sox standards and operating sales level agreements.- work with commercial organization to clearly define pricing strategy necessary for each customer and/or business as well as ensuring price records are setup per expectations and in accordance with business needs.- get from commercial team all rebate & commission contracts/agreements, understanding its mechanic to answer with the right calculation for provisioning and payment while assuring the sox standards and doa are being followed.- understand and utilize optimal internal mechanisms in sap ecc or any other tool available to build pricing and rebate framework that best matches to the strategy defined.- constantly evaluate the operational strategy. Proposing most efficiently ways for pricing and rebates setup at sap ecc or at any other tool.- support commercial team to obtain approvals connecting all necessary teams to speed up pricing availability and avoid manual overrides. It also includes management on the approval workflow for rebates and commissions speeding up the release of payment to our customers.- validate & eliminate price records periodically in tandem with commercial and business organizations to ensure that only required and current pricing is in the system.- identify and resolve all price discrepancies as well as communicate pricing improvements to the teams.- provide training on pricing & rebates matter to the teams.- analyze rebate contract rules like targets, periodicity, form of payment, method of calculation, etc. to provide proactive feedback to commercial in case of noticing possible clauses not in compliance with company standards and/or strategies.- backup locally colleagues and from other regions if necessary.*main requirements*:- bachelor's degree and a couple of years of relevant work experience; - strong sap/pricing/accounting technique knowledge (r3/ecc sd/fi - desirable knowledge on vistex),- strong ms office skills; excel and access
