responsibilities:
* responsible for the training and development of staff focusing on established standards.
* maintain a high level of quality and satisfactory service for both the client and management.
* prepare the schedule for managers and supervisors of the department in coordination with the food and beverage assistant.
* verify and control the staffing guideline of the consumption center.
* selectively supervise during tours of the areas of the consumption center, ensuring cleanliness, lighting, order, and any detail that affects the image of the restaurant and/or banquet event.
* supervise the various functions of the trusted and unionized staff.
* hold periodic meetings with the staff under charge.
* ensure that managers and supervisors correctly complete the log in avero.
* manage the budget and p&l of the center.
* 100% manage the corporate system of clarabrige, avero, and alice.
* verify that guest treatment is friendly and courteous.
* supervise that there is dynamism, effectiveness, and quality in service.
* authorize charges or make bonuses to guest accounts.
* resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
* avoid relaxation of discipline to maintain authority principles.
* provide support to the consumption centers and/or banquets as necessary.
* assist and supervise any issues with guests' accounts.
* participate in a and b management meetings with administrative area or service personnel.
* supervise and authorize the creation of the staff template for elaboration of roles of unionized personnel.
* review home group programs to anticipate needs.
* daily check the list of vips and recommended guests.
* check the checks of guests who do not accept or admit a charge on their account and authorize cancellation or proceed with the corresponding charge.
* participate in the induction course for new staff.
* maintain and update menus, supervising preparation and purchase requisition if necessary in coordination with the food and beverage assistant.
* coordinate follow-up of accounts receivable in the food and beverage area, authorizing adjustments and delineating responsibilities of staff in charge.
* supervise payroll of the areas to ensure budget compliance.
* supervise and schedule vacations for trusted and unionized staff.
* supervise and carry out disciplinary actions for trusted staff.
* work in coordination with the food and beverage assistant on everything related to the union.
* perform service, cleaning, and organization audits in all consumption centers to verify the application of standards.
* operate in the restaurants and bars during peak hours or when required.
