as a jr. Material analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our inventory levels. This unique position will see you working closely with the master scheduler to implement time-saving strategies and oversee our supplies, making a significant impact on our operations.
you will make an impact by:
1. collecting data from multiple sources, including mrp, regional planner, sales, and marketing.
2. creating and maintaining a master part number list.
3. material maintenance in mrp systems.
4. weekly reporting.
5. coordinating and expediting the flow of materials & maintaining inventory by suggesting rebalancing and proactively reviewing orders.
skills that you bring:
1. 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
2. associated degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
3. strong attention to detail.
4. good with data sets and excel.
5. must be able to develop and draft process documents for internal business practices.
6. basic understanding of supply chain best practices.
7. strong communication skills and logical and analytical talent are essential.
8. willingness to learn.
9. ability to grasp new technologies and experience in an erp system.
10. high-level multi-tasking.
11. creative problem-solving.
12. good written and spoken english.
preferred skills:
1. experience with sap and oracle integrated materials/production systems (mrp).
2. six sigma knowledge is a plus.
