We are seeking a skilled fashion or graphic designer to join our team and support the creative department at a retail company based in the us. In this role, you will work with sr. Graphic designer to create seasonal, brand-appropriate prints and draws for the lingerie and loungewear collections. You will create, visualize, and execute seasonal original licensed prints along with presentations for the sales department.
it is required to have a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, understanding of pattern making, and experience with licenses. (link to online portfolio required)
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in fashion or graphic design with at least 5+ years’ experience in the fashion industry working with prints, repeats, and licenses.
* prior experience with licenses and licensed apparel.
* prior experience with loungewear or intimates.
* strong understanding of local and repeated print constructions and processes.
* strong illustrator skills and experience with technical draws.
* solid understanding of design principles, color theory, and layout composition.
* ability to work independently and remain flexible, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, shifting focus as needed to meet business priorities.
* knowledge and interest in pop culture, music, tv shows and movies, and cartoons is a plus.

responsibilities
* identify print trends and creatively incorporate them into licensed and non-licensed commercials that are feasible for producing apparel products.
* develop creative and visually appealing prints for intimates and loungewear collections, including original seasonal licensed prints/screen artwork that stands out from the competition.
* create intricate print and artwork for garment production in adobe illustrator.
* create and/or edit photos of the products in adobe photoshop to showcase the collection.
* collaborate closely with the designer and product development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
* demonstrate a strong understanding of pattern repeatability and production limitations.
* work effectively with licensed product artwork, ensuring brand and copyright compliance.
* manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
* work independently and take initiative, while also being a strong team player.
* develop packaging designs that complement the overall brand aesthetic.
* create tech packs for garment or print production.
