Primary purpose: responsible for answering phones, offering support to inside sales, sorting mail and a variety of other tasks to keep the business and sales operation running efficiently. Exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
essential functions:
1. handle administrative requests from our admin manager
2. draft correspondence and other formal documents
3. answer inbound telephone calls from clients and vendors
4. contact clients to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company
5. monitor active purchase orders/shipments to make sure all are completed on time
6. input data into our crm system
7. follow up with past due invoices
8. create different types of reports
9. perform additional related duties as required
required skills:

required qualifications:
1. 1-2 years previous experience in office administration
2. 1-2 years of previous sales/customer service experience preferred
3. working hours may include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates (e.g. to facilitate overseas communication)
physical requirements:
this job may require frequent sitting. Candidate must be able to lift up to 5 pounds and to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Candidate must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
