the product management organization has ownership of the 42q product with the goal of ensuring its
success in the marketplace.
*organization roles*:
the product management team will team up with the people who make a product, those who use the
product and those who manage the business to ensure that the product is meeting the client's needs.
this includes improvement of existing products as well as development of new products, all driven by
the idea of creating value for customers and driving revenue.
this team will build upon and further
develop existing solution concepts, but it will also help to develop new ideas based on your industry
experience and your communication with customers and prospects.
this team shall develop a unique blend of business acumen and technical savvy to develop product
direction and vision, and to drive that vision to reality.
it also shall spend time in the market and to
understand industry objectives, to find innovative solutions for the broader market and how 42q best
serves it.
it will work with 42q's engineering, customer services engineering (cse) and devops
organizations to define product release requirements, as well as to meet compliance requirements and
to ensure product quality.
the team will work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy,
helping them to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.
the team will
work with sales to incorporate the market need and voice of the customer into the product roadmap.
it
will also serve as the internal and external ambassador for your product offering, working together with
the sales channel and key customers to deliver the message and help win business for 42q.
key responsibilities
- manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to daily and tactical activities.
- specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research,
supported by on-going visits to customers and sales prospects.
- develop the processes and governance around product management to ensure regulatory
compliance, including 21 cfr part 11, iso 13485, eu mdr, itar, etc.
- develop the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business
ventures.
- manage product prioritization and drive the solution development (development/engineering,
and marketing) through market requirements, product message and positioning.
- develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to
execute.

- take overall responsibility for the success of the 42q solution.
- contribute towards product strategy and vision.
- meet regularly with all stakeholders to ensure product direction matches market needs and
organizational objectives.
- collect, analyze and respond to client/prospect feedback.
- manage product management budget.
- gather and evaluate ideas and opinions, incorporating into the product roadmap.
- demonstrate new ideas and features to stakeholders, partners and prospects.
- attend/present at conferences and events related to a product or industry.
- research competitors and similar products, incorporating advantages into product roadmap.
- coordinate the release management process with devops and engineering.
