Payroll analyst
responsible for managing, calculate and pay salary payroll and severances assigned as part of hbp latam scope, this includes biweekly payment frequency for non-unionized employees. This includes communication, payment preparation related to employees and other labor obligations, ensure accomplishment with internal controls and hersheys policies, reporting, and applicable country´s labor laws. Employee attention related to payroll inquiries and support internal, external audit requirements.
major duties/responsibilities:
payroll processing
• communicate and align with relevant stakeholder the payroll payment process based on the procedure stablished and applicable calendar.
• ensure all the payroll incidents are captured in a timely and correct manner.
• prepare payroll cycle base on the hersheys policies and labor law on time.
• ensure internal controls and attend internal and audit requirements.
• ensure payroll payment to employees and other company obligation related.
• ensure electronic stamps.
• ensure payroll posting.
• attend internal - external & audits or other internal – external inquiries.
• support on payroll balance sheet account reconciliation process.
continuous improvement projects
• coordinate continuous improvement opportunities within the payroll process.
• support on internal or external process improvement / changes.
employee attention
• attend employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
• attend stakeholder payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
• support on opportunities to improve internal customer satisfaction.
minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
experience in payroll processing under mexico´s law.
knowledge in mexican labor law, social security, housing fund, and other labor law appliable in mexico.
knowledge/ability to work with sap hcm or another payroll processing system.
knowledge/ability to work with sap ecc other erp processes and a basic understanding of accounting and payment process.
familiar with microsoft office 365 tools and capabilities.
strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail.
possess strong communication & interpersonal skills and work as a collaborative team member
100% english (spoken, writing, and reading) certificate 509- 775 high intermediate or equivalent in other certificates as toefl, ielts, vpa, others.
experience in process optimization.
ability to work in a dynamic environment – learning new skills & solving new problems.
minimum education and experience requirements:
education: administration, accounting, business, or equivalent degree.
experience: 1-3 years of experience.
