leading and directing the day-to-day operation and customer service and their personnel at mvt logistics.

*main responsibilities*:
- maintain company issued service standards, safety standards and security procedures.
- perform reviews, evaluations, or disciplinary action for members of the customer service team.
- present information and respond to questions from department managers, co-workers, customers and
the general public.
- handle customer service requests and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- provide general assistance and advice to customers.
- relationship building with customers, both internal and external.
- lead the day-to-day inside operation and provide guidance for the customer service team.
- work with line staff and line manager to ensure a premium customer service experience both inside
and outside.
- regularly communicate with customers and with all internal departments to ensure customer service
standards are met and exceeded when possible.
- handle customer complaints and/or objectives on services and provide follow up. Document all
communication with customers.
- identify and solve problems in early stages and look for ways to prevent problems when able.
- communicate issues to management team quickly when necessary.
- organize the broker aspects of the business by managing and communicating with our partner
carriers.
- build strong relationships with trucking company key contacts (i.e., owner operators, dispatchers and
drivers).
- maintain constant contact with carriers to secure additional truck capacity and manage existing
business agreements.
- align, campaign, and target carriers utilizing all tools to solidify book of business and support
operations on consistent lane flows and shippers.

*requisitos*:
bilingual english/spanish required.
Knowledge of as400 and mcleod (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, engineering or related field is required.
Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
Minimum of three years of transportation/logistics experience and one year of supervisory experience
knowledge of ctpat
computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software.
