we are currently seeking a e-logistics manager for our monterrey, mexico shared services center facility.
summary of role
* develop a smart logistics roadmap for america region.
* lead the design, development, planning and full implementation of automated logistics projects in various plants.
* direct the planning and execution of inbound/outbound logistics models in the america region.
* design and promote standardization of internal logistics models in jss ame reg facilities.
* monitor new supply chain technologies, such as agv, artificial intelligence, and drive their application in logistics within the america region.
primary duties and responsibilities
* develop medium-to-long-term planning for smart logistics systems in factories, aligned with factory business development needs and overall scm planning.
* prepare a three-year implementation plan for smart logistics technologies in factories across the america region.
* draft an annual implementation plan for automated logistics in various factories.
* handle capex budgeting.
* effective and constant communication with purchasing for new projects evaluation and implementation.
* plan internal logistics for factories, introducing mature logistics equipment (e.g., automated storage systems, agvs, rfid, shelves) to optimize logistics paths, eliminate unnecessary actions, improve employee efficiency, and reduce labor costs.
* standardize logistics equipment and logistics visual aids used in the america region and publish procedural documents.
* conduct feasibility analyses for inbound logistics models, optimize supply chain inventory, coordinate relevant departments to complete project advancement, and help factories reduce inventory costs.
* complete other tasks assigned by leadership.
* establish standard models for internal and warehouse logistics flows (e.g., transport vehicle aisle widths, number of lanes, docking port design, logistics visual aids, warehouse functional areas, and material movement paths). Provide standard input for logistics scheme design in newly established factories to ensure smooth and orderly logistics flow.

qualifications
* bachelor's degree or higher in relevant majors such as logistics management, computer science, business management, or industrial engineering.
* over 5 years of management experience in supply chain and manufacturing, with proficiency in supply chain logistics management.
* over 3 years of experience in logistics planning and implementation.
skills
* proficiency in english for listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
* skilled in using office automation software.
* strong communication, coordination, organization, and project management abilities.
* travel availability 50% of the time.
