As the jamco group team member you will be help to improve processes along with ensuring a best-in-class customs and logistics service on both sides of the border.
you will work with other jamco offices and an experienced team to help drive efficiencies and a better customer experience.
a customs service representative coordinator will be focused on our direct customers service and have the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure a smooth and seamless filing.
*responsibilities*:
- coordinate with client all customs documents required to clear shipment through any other jamco office in mexico ports
- receive from our customers any instruction and notification to move, clear and schedule shipments in monterrey and any other ocean port
- act as a liaison between our customers and our partners in other mexican customs ports to move cargo or clear customs.
- review and organize documentation to ensure a timely filing.
- coordinate customs process to receive and send documents from/to our port offices to complete all mexican entries and notify our customers status on cargo.
- maintain up to date knowledge of all regulations and procedures of the mexican customs and other government agencies (oga), i.e., sagarpa, salud, cofepris, pemisos de importacion, etc.
- coordinate with our monterrey airport (oma) office team members and dispatchers all customs clearance status and processes.
- file mexican customs entries under mexican customs law for jamco clients.
- help oversee mexican brokerage operations processes and documentation.
- ability to contribute to companywide projects and initiatives.

- excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on client satisfaction
- interest in international business, mx customs
- 1 -3 years of customs or logistics experience but a willingness to learn
- fluency in english and spanish
- good computer program skills in customs software's, microsoft office (word excel, powerpoint), and other software programs
- interpersonal skills and ability to problem solve
- strong analytical and organizational skills and conflict resolution skills
- data entry experience is a must
- prior supervisory experience is a plus
- consistently able to work under pressure and with close deadline schedules
pay: from $20,000.00 per month
