The office manager role will be responsible for directing general office activities at a cold storage facility. This role will have oversight in customer service and administration efforts of the location and will assist the general manager with accounting/financial reporting and inbound and outbound traffic.
essential functions and basic duties
1. Align customer service and administration efforts within a cold storage facility and coordinate operational and sales efforts with other leaders
2. Review records and reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll, and shipping to verify details, monitor work activities, and evaluate performance
3. Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards that align with company goals, mission and vision
4. Hire, coach and manage a staff of customer service and/or administrative workers. Coordinate coverage as needed.
5. Research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence, and other information required by management or governmental agencies
6. Participate in the hiring process and support employee relations efforts as needed
7. Perform other duties as assigned
qualifications
1. Hs diploma or equivalent required. Relevant advanced degree preferred.
2. Two to five years of warehouse office experience and/or leadership experience.
3. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
4. Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision
5. Proficient in ms office, including excel, word, powerpoint and teams.
