we are looking for an experienced business analyst to provide programs to improve operational efficiency, and consistency in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. We are seeking someone who is detailed, analytical, and has strong interest in non-routine work. This is a unique opportunity to work on a team that is focused on broader initiatives, provide data analyses, and solve issues.
*_responsibilities_*
- the business analyst will report to the chief of staff. This person will primarily work with the leadership team, program managers, product managers, and smes to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to provide analytical support.
- provide analytics, stories that show where the business should be going
- collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.
- provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities.
- provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals.
- drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
- develop communication plans and training materials for rolling out new processes and process changes
- works fully independently, often on exceptionally complex, critical projects. Seeks input and collaboration when appropriate
*_requirements_*
- mba, ba, or bs in industrial engineering, business administration, economics, stem-based degree, or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
- 8+ years of business analysis experience
- ability to influence teams & business partners to a future state with a focus on incremental value
- at ease with numbers and stories derived from data
- at east with excel and powerpoint
- awareness of agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- excellent interpersonal, communication and team-facilitation skills.
- leadership ability. Good presenter and speaker. Comfortable in front of groups.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as finance, contracts, hr, legal, shared services, accounts receivable, purchasing, and risk management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives.
