We are looking for an experienced business developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and will be responsible for communicating the benefits of fev’s services to drive sales. He/she will be the point of contact between fev and its customers and prospects and will have a range of responsibilities including identifying potential customers and supporting existing customers with information and assistance related to products and services.

market research & opportunity identification
* analyze market trends and identify potential areas for growth.
* research and target new industries, markets, and regions for expansion.
* monitor competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
lead generation & networking
* identify and reach out to potential clients, partners, or stakeholders.
* attend automotive industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to establish connections.
* develop and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities.
strategic planning
* create and implement business development plans aligned with company goals.
* collaborate with marketing and cad design teams to execute strategies.
* define goals and kpis to measure progress and success.
partnership building
* negotiate and establish partnerships, collaborations, or joint ventures.
* build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
* manage ongoing relationships to ensure mutual value creation.
proposal development & negotiation
* prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to client needs.
* negotiate terms and conditions to close deals that benefit the company.
* manage the entire sales cycle for high-value opportunities.
internal collaboration
* work closely with marketing and engineering teams to ensure alignment.
* provide feedback from clients or partners to help improve offerings and service quality.
* communicate progress and results to the director of operations.
qualifications:
* bs mechanical engineering or similar.
* +5 years of sales experience (must).
* +3 years of experience working in the automotive industry (must).
* experience in b2b sales with complex deals.
* excellent computer skills, including a strong working knowledge of ms office and crm systems.
* strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
* ability to interface with all required levels of a customer (entry level to senior executive).
* strong verbal, written, and presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
* strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close deals.
* ability to work independently, open-minded and highly motivated.
* advanced english (must).
* advanced german (plus).
