As a brand manager jr., you will lead along with sr. Manager the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives, product launches, and new campaigns for fragrances, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in brand management, product development, and team leadership. The brand manager jr. will contribute to enhance brand equity, driving sales growth, and help ensure the brand’s long-term success in the marketplace.
key responsibilities
strategic brand leadership:
1. develop and execute the brand’s long-term strategy, including market positioning, target audience, and growth initiatives.
2. contribute to develop brand’s vision, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
product portfolio management:
1. oversee the fragrance portfolio ensuring the right management and strategies to warrant the leadership of the brand in the mexican market, brand awareness, and fragrance pillars continuous boost.
market analysis and consumer insights:
1. conduct in-depth market research and consumer analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
2. use data-driven insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and brand positioning.
sales and retail strategy:
1. partner with sales and retail teams to develop strategies that drive in-store and online sales.
2. monitor retail performance, ensuring that the brand is effectively represented and that sales targets are achieved.
budget and financial management:
1. manage the brand’s marketing budget along with sr. Manager, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve maximum impact.
team leadership and development:
1. as an initiative owner, you will lead and coordinate the cross-functional teams such as trade marketing, sales, finance, training, visual merchandising, etc., to ensure the execution of the projects.
2. lead, mentor, and develop a fragrance marketing intern.
stakeholder management:
1. build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, agencies, suppliers, and retail partners.
what are we looking for?
1. bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in brand management, with a focus on beauty or cosmetics.
3. advanced proficiency in microsoft office applications, excel & power bi.
4. brand management abilities, including product launches and marketing campaigns.
5. leadership and team management skills.
6. excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
7. consumer behavior understanding, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the beauty industry.
8. knowledge of luxury beauty market dynamics.
9. familiarity with sustainability initiatives and their impact on brand perception.
10. fluency in english & spanish is a must-have, french is a plus.
