primary purpose of the position:responsible by the execution of the talent management (recruitment, training and development) and organizational development strategies and processes defined by goodyear slp and corporate that involve the business units of the plant with direct impact for white and blue collars associates and the business results.
principle duties and responsibilities:recruitment:execute the recruitment process for white and blue collars associates (new income-internal promotions), white collars - salary (hpt's) and interns.coordinate intern programs.coordinate the recruitment supplier.training:coordinate the onboarding, training, development, and certification programs for white and blue collars associates and interns.lead the csd pillar (training & development).assure the compliance of legal requirements, clients, management, and corporate systems, attend audits.lead the team of labor trainers and talent intern.manage the training strategy, development, and deployment of all instructors led and web-based training curriculum for plant team members.
this includes working in partnership with the plant leadership to ensure alignment of training needs.talent & organizational development:support in the implementation of culture-organizational change initiatives and talent management processes (leadership programs, organizational climate, organizational structure, etc.
).support in pdp processes (performance evaluation, objectives, individual development plan).implementation of improvement projects in hr and plant processes.management of budget.experience:3 to 5+ years hr generalist, analyst or coordinator in recruitment, training and/or organizational development experience or related/equivalent experience in a large plant (500+ team members) required.3 to 5+ years of experience developing recruitment, training, and organizational development strategies in a manufacturing environment.3 to 5+ years in a continuous improvement / iso / lean production environment or equivalent experience preferred.experience in a union environment (as applicable).proven track record of increasing scope and responsibility in leadership roles.demonstrated, measurable improvements in staffing, people development, talent management & training.desired experience as internal instructor.must have prior experience in the automotive environment.knowledge & skills:leadership & teamwork.analytical & problem-solving.results oriented.organizational and planning.work in high performance and servant leader cultures.demonstrated ability to build talent in a manufacturing environment.businesspeople focus mindset.strong communication & presentation skills to convince, negotiate and handle matters at different levels.fluent in english (intermediate-advance level).ms office (word, excel, powerpoint) advanced.learning management systems lms experience.
