*essential functions*:
- maintain high standards of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability, financial results and safety.
- develop and achieve/exceed company business plan and goals & objectives.
- ensures that adequate plans for future development and growth of the business are prepared and leads in the preparation; periodically present such plans for general review and approval by the plant manager, acuna and in coordination with the coc director responsible for specific products in plant 2.
presents proposed operating and capital expenditure budgets for review and approval by the coc director and plant manager, acuna.
- measures and reviews the company's performance and reports performance to the coc director and plant manager, acuna.
- establishes annual budget guidelines.
reviews and approves annual plans prepared by department heads, including operating budgets, staffing plans, marketing plans, and capital expenditures.
- develops the basic objectives, policies, and operating plans of the business; submits these to the plant manager, acuna in coordination of the coc director responsible for the specific products associated with plant 2 for approval.
ensures that organizational policies are uniformly understood and properly interpreted and administered by representative subordinates reporting directly to plant 2 manager and in close coordination with acuna plant central functions with which these representative subordinates functionally report.
- ensures all systems are functioning as required to meet all customer needs (i.e.
sales, operations, finance, and administration)
- in coordination with sce, maintain high levels of customer on-time delivery performance while controlling inventory at or below target.
- improve operating profits by continuously evaluating and implementing cost effective capacity and staffing strategies.
- build a positive work environment with open, honest communication.
communicate the right things at the right time and communicate often.
- professionally represents the organization in its relationships with customers, sales representation agencies, suppliers, commercial and investment bankers, government agencies, professional societies, and similar groups.
- manage sub-function representatives as direct reports who have a functional reporting relationship with the plant central functions.
- deploy, administrate and assure the completion of the priorities for product safety activities.
- review and take actions on key product safety metrics.
- support product safety (ps) metrics and drive product safety actions
- ensure and actively participate in the development, goal setting and performance reviews of all employees under the direction of the plant 2 manager.
- travel requirements = 15% to 25%.
must maintain the ability to travel to headquarters in the usa and customers/suppliers anywhere in the world.
- perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

*experience*:
- minimum 10 years of progressive experience in proven leadership skills a must in the areas of customer interaction and market knowledge, product development knowledge, program management, financial analysis and hands on understanding of the operational function of a business.
- strong sense of entrepreneurship is a plus
- supply chain - purchasing and materials management experience a must
- previous hands on operational experience required.

*education/certifications*:
- degree in business or engineering, master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
