*general description*:
responsible for providing the areas in charge of the facilities to carry out the production process in terms of material flows, required documentation, balancing of lines, determination of production capacities, time studies, setting of production standards among others in order to meet the requirements of the company.
*main functions, responsibilities and authority*:
- redesign of production plans and equipment.
- makes time and motion studies.
- transfer of product lines.
- introduction of new tools (poka-yoke, templates, gages)
- engineering changes (ecr, eco).
- kaizen and lean events.
- design of work stations, containers, etc.
- monthly reports of activities.
- prototype samples.
- participation in the 5's program
- carrying out cost reduction projects (cost out / cost savings) and their monitoring in ci trac
- participation in the implementation of the total productive maintenance (tpm) philosophy
- develops, evaluates and improves process methods.
- develops and makes recommendations for improvement to make processes more efficient.
- identify and develop investment (capex) proposals through ipp.
- analyze and make work plans to detect adequate space and workflows.
- coordinates with suppliers for equipment improvements.
- leading or participate on lean manufacturing workshops.
- reports savings made by the company.
- responsible for activities related to jcms
- it is conducted in accordance with the company's code of ethics and respects the rit and safety
*knowledge and skills required*
- completed professional career in engineering areas (metal mechanics preferably).
- advanced english.
- experience in similar activities 3- 5 years.
- basic knowledge in managing continuous improvement tools (six-sigma, tmp, lean mfg, 5's)
- knowledge of apqp and ppap.
- creation and maintenance of pfema.
- management of 3d design software (solidworks, autocad)
- analysis, problem solving, own initiative and responsible.
