the ideal candidate should have a strategic mindset, strong commercial skills, and a proactive attitude toward business development and client acquisition.
the primary goal of the position is to sell, develop, and retain business on the assigned trade lane for all products and hold overall responsibility for driving customer development through sales at origin and destination.main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:develop commercial strategies to manage and nurture customer relationships and agreements with clients in the asian market, becoming a trusted advisor.maintain a robust understanding of evolving market conditions to aid internal stakeholders in opportunity identification, problem-solving, and product awareness.stay up to date with market trends, rates, and regulations, conduct market research on various business opportunities, and assess trends in the industry to maintain a competitive position and identify new growth opportunities.schedule and conduct business meetings with potential clients and negotiate commercial agreements with a strategic and results-oriented approach.identify and approach new clients through various channels (trade fairs, events, exhibitions, etc.
