As a manager business travel sales - mexico, you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the hilton worldwide sales team - mexico team reporting to managing director of sales – hilton worldwide sales cala, you will focus on building positive partnerships with the mexico-based decision makers of global bts & strategic corporate accounts.
you will be committed to improving revenue and growing hilton’s market share and you will also assist your global counterpart in the facilitation of the annual rfp process for your assigned accounts. You will educate both hotels and brand representatives on the assigned account roster to help cultivate customer business. You will be the main contact for the assigned account roster, keeping both hotels and brand representatives informed about assigned accounts, and will maintain relationships with assigned accounts with the goal of improving revenue and increasing market share in hilton hotels in the caribbean & latin america.

what your day-to-day will be like:
* present sales pitches to clients with complex needs across multiple areas of the business, providing an overall solution approach.
* communicate hotel promotions with a high degree of ease to support client needs.
* analyze industry trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses. You will incorporate industry and client analyses into the forecast and future client needs.
* utilize sales growth techniques to increase revenue and improve client total brand usage.
* establish and maintain relationships with accounts.
* support overall account planning for your region's strategy to facilitate growth.
how you will collaborate with others:
* collaborate with hilton worldwide sales specialists around the world and other valuable partners to provide total client solutions.
* represent hilton worldwide and with leadership in fam trips, travel, and domestic trade fairs and events meaningful to our market.
what deliverables you will take ownership of:
* analyze industry trends and competitors' strengths and weaknesses and incorporate industry and client analyses to forecast future client needs.
* oversee the account management and account development for a roster of accounts that is segmented vertically and within the country of mexico.
* achieve revenue targets and sales competencies.
* maintain gse / salesforce records, including call reports, meeting profiles, and history.
why you'll be a great fit
you have these minimum qualifications:
* five (5) years of work experience in hospitality.
* spanish and english fluency (oral and written)
* proficient in microsoft outlook, word, powerpoint, excel, web-ex, ms teams and zoom
* negotiation and sales skills
* travel up to 30%
it would be useful if you have:
* five (5) years of direct business transient sales experience for a corporate office representing numerous brands, hotels, and selling groups.
* experience in delphi or similar property sales management system
* experience using salesforce & microstrategy
