- developing, maintaining, and reviewingof concepts with suppliers, customers, and other departments -alignment with cross-functional project team.
- performingquantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impact tologistics costs and structure - initiating and implementing processimprovements through innovative creative ideas.
- develops,maintains, and reviews concepts with suppliers and customers.
-coordinates and executes scheduling activities for assigned partnumbers using advanced planning systems.
- assesses and identifiesinventory needs as relates to materials/resource planning forfuture projected manufacturing forecast.
- coordinates input onmaterial shortages.
- identifies and reacts to material plans thatdo not meet customer requirements.
- monitors implementation ofcorrective action plans - assists in effective scheduling andimplementation of all programs based on the master schedule, cycletime, production capacity, hardware/tooling availability and statusof schedules.
- monitors supply and demand misalignment usingadvanced planning system and collaborate with manufacturing sourcesto implement corrective action plans.
- coordinates the efforts ofcross-functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks,parts shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues andproduction capacity.
- ensures timely shipments to all customersand prepares and implements work orders and plans as required.requirements - previous consulting or contract experience required.- 10+ years of logistics experience (3pl and mp&l) inautomotive, manufacturing, or other related industries.
- 10+ yearsof experience with forecasting, production planning and overallproduction processes related to supply chain.
- bachelor's degreein supply chain, engineering, operations, or other related fields.- experience with using or implementing supply chain solutions(erp, planning solutions, sourcing solutions) - experience leadingsmall teams or delivering projects or programs.
- experienceprioritizing tasks and managing assignments in a collaborative teamenvironment.
- bachelors' degree in business administration orrelated, preferred.
- erp and sap experiencerequired.
