it will be responsible for coordinating all management processes at tech center micro lab.
this position shall ensure alignment and deployment of global policies, standards and procedures in the latam sector.your impactas r&d tech analyst, your responsibilities would consist of:laboratory management process (incomings, maintenance, equipment calibration, etc.).
ensure microbiology programs compliance, results driven.monitor and measure performance of pepsico r&d micro laboratories.provide microbiology guidance for new projects and programs within r&d and ops teams to elevate microbiology awareness.
identify micro risk for ingredients, finished goods and preventive controls programs related.implementation and validation for new micro methodologies.
work in collaboration with regional and global groups.support sanitation and process validation for high-risk ingredients to provide accurate microbiology input to r&d and ops according to global standards and food safety mandates.update and upload paperwork (e.g.
microbiology methods).ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined project timelines.identify potential areas for process improvements to make recommendations to r&d and ops for continuous improvement.network closely with cross-functional partners within r&d, operations and fsqa organization supporting microbiology.deliver microbiology tools as needed and provide training to key stakeholders (e.g.
fsqa, r&d, ops).level up microbiology culture across latam r&d, fsqa and ops.support root cause analysis.represent latam within microbiology global working groups.
ensure policies, standards and protocols are delivered and implemented in the sector.qualificationswho are we looking for?Microbiology/food science engineer/chemical engineer/food chemistry/food technology degree.2-3 years of experience in the food industry
