*what is your role*:as a financial controller you will be responsible for the financial management of the company - including regular financial reporting, overseeing audits, developing departmental budgets, managing cash flows, working with department leads to reduce expenses, raising capital and maintaining our financial obligations and debt covenants.

*what will you do*:- oversee the activities of the accounting department including accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly financial statements, annual audits, budgets, etc.
).- ensure timely month-end close procedures.
participate in monthly close duties including preparing journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.- oversee accounts payable and accounts receivables and payroll.- establish policies & procedures and internal controls in compliance with gaap (generally accepted accounting principles).- cash flow management including updating cash flow projections and communicating cash flow position to senior management.- work closely with operations to establish effective inventory management and oversee all inventory accounting functions including reconciliations, accruals, adjustments, etc.- prepare budget vs. Actuals, and prepare narratives/presentations to share with sr. mgmt.- manage audit process and facilitate requests from audit firm.- work with existing and future lenders and investors to raise capital and maintain financial oblications.
