- management of supplier claims process, including timely organization of containment actions to ensure availability of certified parts.
- follow-up of defect cost process and concessions management as per process.
- support on ppap process and on supplier quality improvement programs
- working with multidisciplinary teams
- quality audits with suppliers & customers as leader, participant or representative (internal and externals).
- support with cip projects
- follow compliance and applicable automotive requirements and standards
- problem solving
- pbi developments and update (scrap, costs, etc) and task force leading.
- set up/ tracking local kpis
*qualifications*:
- fluent in english
- proficient knowledge in problem solving methods (8d, ishikawa, 5 whys, proso, shainin, kt, 6 sigma or equivalent)
- core tools (ppap, apqp, msa, spc, fmea)
- mechanical components (drawings, tolerances, measurement methods, manufacturing process)
- intermediate knowledge in quality standards (iso9000, iso/ts16.949, vda6)
- basic knowledge on customer requirements
- geometric tolerances gd&t
- rigorous
- teamwork
- organized and structured
- analytical thinking
- communication and negotiation skills
- required flexibility for traveling to suppliers
- graduated on mechanical, industrial engineering or similar
- automotive industry, quality, purchased parts
- * starting at hidalgo location with movement later on to queretaro or guanajuato locations.*
