Job description:
we are looking for a clinical leader to join our team to lead inside the design team operations. You will help support the rapid growth of the spark and digital orthodontic business unit of envista. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of team members and their performance depending on the kpis of each member area. Also, identify development needs, collaboratively execute individual development plans, and lead the team to achieve department objectives while providing new spark users a world-class experience.
primary duties and responsibilities:
* responsible for following envista's circle of values.
* assist with requests and/or issues from the company products and/or services.
* provide ideas for innovation and r&d to improve software, features, and products.
* participate with ideas, suggesting and testing processes in innovation and continuous improvement projects for the good of the clinical team, stakeholders, spark, and the whole envista corporation.
* handle clinical communication and situations (issues and concerns) with internal and external stakeholders.
* assist in clinical training (designers, clinical peers, customers, dss, etc.).
* provide inputs if needed for innovation and r&d to improve software, features, and products.
* contact the doctor as needed to maintain and verify customer satisfaction, complaints, doubts, or feedback; if needed, do root cause analysis to understand the needs of the customers.
* work with the supervisor to ensure the quality of the designed cases provided to the doctor.
* responsible for follow-up over performance of 15 - 20 internal customers (designers).
* keep track of all the kpis: lead time, cr rate, on-hold cases, cases/designer, quality (ppm, psr, ppm ratings, ppm mrdr, manufacturing rejects).
* responsible for assisting with any type of consultation of the production team that they are part of and helping the designers with notes to doctors.
* participate and execute improvement action plans for internal and external customers to improve their metrics.
* participation in meetings is required to assure proper communication and understanding with operations and manufacturing teams regarding their needs.
* provide feedback to the designers in charge.
* assist and participate in any required tasks that can help their team to become successful.
job requirements:
requirements:
* degree in dentistry, dental surgery, or dental medicine or equivalent.
* 2+ years of experience as an orthodontist or 2+ years as a dentist with equivalent experience with virtual treatments.
* bilingual english/spanish or any other language will be a plus, with strong effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence across the organization.
preferred qualifications:
* certified orthodontist.
* experience practicing orthodontic treatment or as a clinical consultant in digital aligners or have equivalent orthodontic studies or experience.
* excellent clinical knowledge in regards to teeth anatomy and movement.
* excellent microsoft office skills, especially in outlook.
* lean six sigma certification.
