discova is looking for a sales representative leader for puerto vallarta and los cabos team (based pvr)
as a member of the sales team, sales representative leader will function at both strategic and operational levels, executing the fulfillment and operations strategies with all customer facing functions, teams and support team. They lead a high performing team who focuses on consistently exceeding our customers and business partners expectations and in return delivering great results in line with country strategies as well as running their branch with efficiency and accuracy.
key responsibilities
1. ensure the service experience is consistently followed by all team members including drivers, hotel reps and tour guides where applicable.
2. effectively lead the cross-team relationships with product, sales, customer experience and suppliers for daily operational cooperation and overall service delivery and improvements for your region.
3. create and maintain guide pools to ensure a consistent service delivery and strong representation for the company and business partners.
4. support with account management of key accounts and retention for your region.
5. ensure the consistent implementation of company one best ways (obws) processes/procedures/systems across the region.
6. challenge the current obws to improve and innovate ways we operate the services liaising with counterparts in different regions of the country.

9. ensure bookings run within budget.
10. understand and provide monthly reports to finance.
11. establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies.
12. focus sales strategies on selling discova own operated tour first.
13. ensuring welcome packs, company branding, and other collateral is in line with one best way and presentable to our customers.
14. maintain the expertise in the domestic market by being up to date with domestic information or changes.
15. coach the team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as directed by the host team leader.
16. assist in training and support of new hosts.
17. financial reports to be sent daily to the in destination area leader

essential qualifications and experience
18. a degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage.
19. minimum of 3 years' experience in leading high performing teams in the relevant field.
20. fluent in both written and spoken english is required.
