spm also includes setting goals and objectives for suppliers, as well as establishing a system for monitoring and measuring progress.additionally, spm can help you develop contingency plans in case of disruption.you will work in close collaboration with operations in denmark and mexico and the global convatec procurement a supply chain organization.
we can offer you a central role in an exciting company, where you will have a great influence on the projects and processes of which you are a part.you will report to director, sourcing and supply chain and be a part of a dedicated team of 18 dedicated specialists with different professional backgrounds.your main work location is reynosa tamaulipas mx.
you can expect 40-50 travel days annually.
*responsibilities*- identify areas of improvement to take out cost in close collaboration with our key suppliers.- work closely with key suppliers to teach them and deploy lean tools to the benefit of all parties.- develop a supplier performance scorecard that measures flexibility in addition to traditional kpi's.*requirements*- bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education.- minimum 7 years of lean/six sigma experience- structured and analytical approach based on the principals of dmaic.- high level of communication skills in spanish and english, both written and verbal.- strong attention to details and advanced problem-solving skill- strong desire to collaborate with suppliers and international supply chain experience.- experience from the medical devices or pharma industry, alternatively other industries with regulatory regulations and related documentation.
