*title of the position*:*production control & logistics improvement manager*:*bg / division / site*:*fas / nao / auburn hills, mi hq*:*directly reporting to*:*production control & logistics senior manager*:*functionally reporting to*:*n/a*:*overall responsibilities and duties*:the production control & logistics improvement manager is responsible for logistic performance improvements, of production control for several plants of the division, focus on all the pc&l deliverables:- safety and ergonomics- stocks levels optimizations ( lead time reduction)- logistic costs productivity- customer servicethis role is responsible for the faurecia excellence system deployments and of pc&l network training into the defined perimeter.
*the main missions of the role are*:- analyze the plants performances levels of its plants perimeter, identify the gaps between objectives and budgets.- analyze the pc&l skills of its perimeter, and identify trainings and developments needed, assure the training as possible.- analyze and report the level of fes deployment into its perimeter, lead the wss to be done in each site on that topic.- punctually give an operational support to local team in case of crisis.- co- responsible of operational results of plants logistic teams from its perimeter:- make sure that action plans in place are able to reach the needed results.- support local teams for action plans building and securization of the results.- report the pc&l kpi from its perimeter, with clear analysis of the gaps vs. objectives.- manage the exchanges between plants:- pc&l tools and best practices explanations and training.- complex issues solving in team work.- local team development.
*:*qualifications*:*minimum education level*:bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering or related field.
*:*experience*:- 5 years production control & logistics function- success as production control & logistics leader*skills & competencies*:- quick in plant evaluation ability- strong verbal and written communications skills- ability to travel- transportation pattern organization (milk runs, cross-docks, etc.)
including lisa usage- mifa/mifd design, targets mifa /mifd definition, and corresponding action plan- global experience- commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to faurecia's code of ethics and code of management
