Summary:
the 3pl sales manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our third-party logistics and mexican customs operations.
this position requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the logistics and customs industry.

essential duties and responsibilities include the following areas.
- develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth in the 3pl sector.
- identify and initiate contact with potential clients.
- build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients.
- collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- track and analyze sales metrics to guide future sales activities.
minimum qualifications (education, training & experience):
- minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or 3pl industry (mexican customs, supply chain management, or a related field)
- strong network of potential clients within the logistics industry.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in english and spanish, with proven negotiation abilities.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- sales metrics: track and analyze sales metrics to guide future sales activities and strategies.
- high school diploma or g.e.d.
preferred
- one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
license and certifications: no specific licenses or certifications are required, but certifications in business management (e.g., mba), leadership, or industry-relevant credentials are advantageous.

physical requirements and work environment: work in a climate-controlled environment closely with others and alone with traveling required.
work involves extended workdays outside the regular working hours and on-call status.

must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
the ability to see, write, count, read, identify shades of colors, and hearing is needed to perform essential functions.
pay: $706,300.00 per year
