this position reports to
operations manager
your role and responsibilities
in this role, you will have the opportunity to lead planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts for all project phases of individual delivery for small to medium size projects. Each day, you will maintain and analyze actual and forecasted schedules, costs, revenues, cash in/out, as well as risks and opportunities. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring, reporting, and managing deviations proactively. The work model for the role is: #li-onsite. This role is contributing to the project team for process automation process industries division from mexico for north america. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. support project managers in developing, updating, and analyzing schedule, cost, and resources in the project planning tool.
2. prepare and submit project risks and changes for approval; and log project change orders and integrate them into the project plan and baseline.
3. collaborate with the project team in procurement activities as well as in the detailed cost calculation for site work.
4. responsible to deliver assigned work packages under the main project.
qualifications for the role
* you have 3+ years of experience in project management area.
* highly skilled in scheduling tools (like primavera or ms project).
* you are at ease communicating in english in a fluent proficiency. If you also have french communication skills, it is a plus.
* ability to demonstrate your experience in financial administration and control for projects, mainly in the “earned value” concept.
* knowledge of sap is an asset.
* bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
* a pmi certification is desirable.
