this position will report directly to the global capital procurement operations leader.
this individual will be responsible for supporting the capital procurement team in executing rfx/small capex purchases for complexed engineered equipment, engineering and construction services required to support major capital projects; while ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures.
the position will coordinate directly with the capital site procurement leaders and project procurement managerthe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:- compose category rfx and supporting documentation for sourcing events- manage high volume, daily request for equipment, material and services request for quotes and in support of major capital projects- provide support for implementation technology platforms that streamline and provide value to the rfx processes- based on weighted selection criteria, and compliance with policies, analyze bid submissions and provide commercial bid analysis summaries- ensure rfx submissions are compliant with bid requirements- maintains excellent working relationships with internal customers and other supporting organizations.- maintains and fosters continuous improvement initiatives with key business and manufacturing partners and key suppliers- facilitate confidentiality agreements, rfi's and other early engagement work to support capital project execution- works closely with site procurement leaders and project procurement managers to develop rfx packages, identify suppliers and facilitate the entire rfx process.- support execution and drive strategies for guideline supplier capital project purchasesthe following is _preferred_ for this role:- bachelor's degree required - business or technical degree preferred.- language: english advanced level- 3 years of experience in procurement, preferred in epc activities- willing to adhere to all chemours core values.- strong problem solving and analytical skills.- ability to action complex rfx with suppliers and contractors.- ability to manage multiple projects at once.- ability to drive operational excellence and deliver results.- strong organization skillset- ability to manage and analyze key project data- strong ms excel skills.at chemours, you will find sustainability in our vision, our business and your future.
