our land, permits and communities department is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in mexico to support to damage prevention and pipeline integrity.
we are looking for our public awareness field representative who has knowledge and experience in community relationship and pipe integrity (desirable).
*responsibilities*:
- reports to the public awareness leader mexico.
- provides attention to the communities, landowners, government and emergency agencies, non-government agencies and private industry to share the public awareness talk.
this aincludes meetings, reporting, follow ups and all activities related to the role in the field
- provides reports of the social risks that it detects in conjunction with project supervisors.
- executes the public awarnes program project and dispels the concerns of the stakeholders in its area of attention and the assets integrity team
- performs inspection tours to prevent possible unauthorized activities, in case ua appears, it its responsibility to star report in workflow system and keep updated until its close, in alignment to the regional work plan cascated from the corporate strategy dictated by asseted integrity team
- attends unauthorized activities reports to provides public awareness talks to the direct offenders and identify indirect offenders to provide a wider awareness talk.
- collaborate with field ops supervisor and system manager on assigned tasks.
- collaborate with lead community and public awareness lead to keep social license system.
- prepares social risk reports according of his work area and those which are provided by swra prioritize the attention areas.
- attend meetings with local, state and federal authorities, ngos, csos, private industry, to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and spread public awareness talk.
- attend meetings with state and municipal civil protection to maintain the mutual aid collaboration agreements.
- deliver reports of the internal civil protection programs (pipc) in order to keep the authorizations to these laws in force.
- collaborate in the interaction with the necessary authorities to perform simulations adhering to the procedures of tc energy, accident prevention program (ppa), internal program of civil protection (pipc) (civil protection, red cross, firefighters, federal police of roads).
- provides and send to the public awareness lead the information collected in the field about the unauthorized activities in order to have the risk matrices of the system fed.
- collaborates with the public awareness lead to carry out activities in conjunction with technical services personnel (interconnections, pipeline integrity and construction services) to identify social problems and provide actions that allow balancing relationships with stakeholders in order to facilitate activities that are required.
- notifies stakeholders, landowners, government and emergency agencies about pipe integrity activities.
- serves requests from different stakeholders to carry out crossings or activities on the development strip of the system (irrigation districts, public works, sct, state board of roads, conagua, construction companies, etc.).
- assists in the attention of emergency number calls to clarify stakeholders and landowners concerns and review possible crossings with our system development.
- strictly complies with the policies and procedures set by the company (anti-corruption policy, vehicle use policy, alcohol and drug policy, etc.)
minimum qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in social areas, communities or government relationship.
- 3 years minimum experience on social management, government relations, attention to communities or obtaining social consent, preferably in projects of the energy industry.
- proven experience in field work related to interaction with communities, preferably in energy industry projects.
- leadership, ability to evaluate situations on decision making and conflict solutions.
- used to working under pressure
- excellent communication and writing skills
- extensive knowledge on microsoft office: word, excel, power point; and google earth
preferred qualifications
- skills on communication and writing in english.
- postgraduate studies will be considered
- extensive knowledge in powerbi
- knowledge of power apps
