job scope & purpose*
as the senior financial analyst you will work to track secured, develop annual budget/forecasts, and analyze month end results.
works to ensure monthly reports are accurate and gain consistency in reporting across the business unit.
continually works to improve reporting accuracy, functionality, and accountability.
integral part of the month end close process and forecast/plan development.
*how you will do it?
essential job responsibilities*
- support the sales team in the process and development of their quarterly outlook
- maintain and improve month-to-date sales trackers to drive accountability at the local market level
- perform month-end journal entries for all levels of the p&l (sales, margin, absorption, and sg&a)
- analyze and monitor financials: month-end deep dives, discretionary spend analysis
- support the team in building quarterly outlooks and annual budgets
- continually work to improve the reporting packages
- lead other adhoc studies/projects as needed

position requirements*
- bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance with a mba or cpa preferred.
- minimum 5 years of progressive financial experience in a multinational business.
- experience working with sales teams
- strong written and oral communication skills(professional proficiency in written and oral english)
- ability to think both analytically and conceptually
- excellent data mining and analytical skills.
- experience in cleansing data in preparation for analysis.
- advanced in aggregating data from disparate sources to come together in an effective way.
- skilled and comfortable in microsoft office products including excel (vlookup, pivot, sumif, graph), sharepoint, powerpoint, word, sql, powerbi or equivalent tool mandatory.
- demonstrated analytical skills, with a keen ability to synthesize diverse ideas/inputs into a cohesive execution plan.
- strong organizational and follow-up skills - able to work effectively across various leadership levels and styles
- proactive, creative, efficacious, and process-disciplined problem-solving ability.
- ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
