a business analyst (ba) is in charge of analyzing an organization's business processes in order to understand its needs, identify problems and develop efficient solutions. The main objective of a business analyst is to help the company to improve its operations and achieve its strategic goals through technology and innovation.

1. research and analysis: to investigate and understand the company's processes in its different business areas and identify improvement opportunities.
2. identification of problems and opportunities: to identify problems in business processes and propose solutions through analysis.
3. design of processes and procedures: gather and define business requirements and functional requirements for technology implementation. These requirements are essential for development teams to create solutions that meet business needs.
4. validation of solutions: design of solutions that meet the identified requirements and working in collaboration with the development teams.
about you:
5. bachelor's degree
6. relevant experience or degree in: computer science, management information systems, business or related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of degree
7. typically minimum 2 years relevant experience
8. professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs
9. analytical skills: to analyze complex data, understand patterns, identify problems and develop effective solutions.
10. communication skills: as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, a ba must be an excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts in a way that non-technical people can understand and convey business requirements and expectations to software development teams at the same time.
11. technical skills: a good understanding of technology (how systems and applications work, knowing industry’s best practices, and being aware of technology trends and advancements).
12. problem-solving skills: the ba must be able to think creatively and strategically to find solutions that meet business needs and are technically feasible.
13. decision making skills: the ba must be able to make informed, data-driven decisions. This may include deciding which requirements are most important, how solutions should be implemented, and what changes can have the greatest positive impact on the business.
14. interpersonal skills: the ba must be able to work well with others, facilitate discussions and reach consensus when there are divergent opinions.
15. at least one year of experience working in the acquiring business.
16. minimum experience in the management/administration of applications related to electronic payments.
