Key functions and responsibilities:
- with sales, qualify targets and establish plans for attaining business with identified target customers
- initiate technology-based discussions with customers
- champion introductions of new technologies/products
- provide market intelligence to sales, marketing, product management and technical teams
- coordinate business plans including campaigns and market development opportunities with marketing
- manage no more than 3 campaigns/initiatives as areas of focus
- provide technical understanding of products to sales and support initial sales activity in partnership with trained, technical resources
- network at trade shows and other technical venues to build knowledge and identify new prospects
- analyze current accounts to identify most suitable targets to incorporate into new product offerings and communicating those needs to the commercial team. Supporting sales in negotiating contracts. In concert with platform and segment leads- qualification and requirements- bachelor degree: food/chemical/biochemical/ engineer- experience: 3+ years in similar position, sales, marketing or tech service discipline
- experience with value selling approaches and techniques
