your mission, roles and responsibilities
you will plan, schedule and supervise the activities related to the management of spare parts (crib) and materials warehouse (not included bill of materials "bom"). Monitor the progress of the request for materials from the crib materials warehouse. Manages and coordinate operations of cleaning area for solder pallets. Support to the maintenance supervisor into their management systems for achieving the objectives and goals, as well as in the implementation and upkeep the systems, allocating the resources of their area to their application. Maintains operations within budgetary constraints; analyzes costs and implements cost reduction measures as necessary.
your responsibilities will include:
distributes the workload of its crib materials warehouse staff with the purpose of contributing to the achievement of the area's objectives.
tracking and ensure payment of spare parts and services invoices that maintenance section have under their accountability.
tracking the operational expenses and avoid non-compliance the maintenance department target.
tracking the capital expenses and implementation together with the maintenance supervisor accountable the assigned investments.
planning together maintenance supervisor the arrival on time the spare parts for the maintenance activities planned.
analyze material coverage and critical spare parts inventory to guarantee supply to production lines and maintenance.
assurance the materials and spare parts reorder point to align with future demands and consumption.
track changes that affect the supply of materials in sap / ariba until their conclusion
look for alternatives to develop new local suppliers and spare parts at a lower price, without affecting the quality of the materials.
follow-up on the information requirements of dangerous chemical substances (hds update, registration of new sqps, etc.)
coordinate the execution of physical and periodic counts of the crib materials warehouse required by the organization to guarantee the reliability of inventories.
your profile and competencies to succeed
engineer degree / bachelor of administration or equivalent. Language: english intermedium.
drive continuous improvement via the effective reducing cost of spare parts, consumables and materials.
minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor of materials inventories and purchases
high proficiency following detail of each purchasing.
high proficiency for supervise the storage of products (dangerous, fragile, great volume).
experience for coordinate periodic inventory inspections.
key requirements
evidence of leadership, positive attitude, and strong written and verbal communication skills with a high tolerance for change in a fast-paced environment.
identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information. Develop alternate solutions and work well within teams to solve problems.
demonstrated history of utilizing strong organizational and communication skills when dealing with employees and senior leadership.
ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ability to communicate effectively with staff, supervisors and work cross functionally with others.
7 quality tools (stratification, histogram, check sheet, pareto chart, etc.).
proficient skills in microsoft office suite (outlook/excel/powerpoint) [intermedium].
basic knowledge of mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards.
basic knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
