You will support micron semiconductor manufacturing sites across the network.key responsibilities:provide technical support, leadership, and expertise to global, regional, and site facilities and manufacturing teams.analyze system designs to identify improvements that result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.benchmark facilities and systems against industry best practices and emerging technology roadmaps.maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on your respective subject area, including industry trends and technological advances.design and construction project support:support global, regional, and site design and construction project teams in the engineering and design development for new large-scale facilities infrastructure expansion projects.develop, review, and maintain micron global design and construction standards and specifications.ensure communication with local facilities, design, construction, procurement, and manufacturing collaborators as required to deliver project objectives and results.global initiatives program support:develop, review, and maintain micron global best known methods (bkm) documents with focus on operations and maintenance reliability and/or performance.lead and own the global facilities programs and initiatives, including establishing and defining program objectives, roadmaps, and high-level implementation plans.requirements:bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering required.minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities-related industries.technical expertise in facilities and semiconductor mechanical and process systems, including cleanroom hvac, chilled water, heating water, makeup air, recirculation air, process cooling water, process exhaust, compressed air, process vacuum, general hvac, etc.able to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently.good organizational skills and service demeanor.excellent interpersonal skills and good team working skills.self-motivated worker.familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems.able to travel 25% of the time.the estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
