*the opportunity*:
the role of the jr. Maintenance manager is to lead the site technical support & utilities teams. The objective of the team is through modern maintenance systems to maintain “business as usual” for plant operations & continuously improve the availability/reliability of the equipment to manufacture quality products in a safe and cost effective way.
The role requires an understanding of modern maintenance techniques and procedures as well as a good working operational knowledge of a manufacturing site. The person must be capable of ensuring quick reaction to daily business needs and be able to balance this against dedicating an appropriate amount of time and energy to liaise with engineering manager in developing improvement strategies and action plans.develop the site “asset care / maintenance / digital transformation strategy” for the next 3 years to achieve world class maintenance.
And will lead the compliance with the environmental policy and with the necessary activities for the implementation and maintenance of the environmental management system.
*your impact*:
*primary accountabilities*
- develop the site maintenance improvement plan through use of the pemm strategy.
- defines, deploy and innovate world class maintenance and inventory excellence techniques and continuous improvement initiatives that increase the overall reliability of the asset base within the site.
- manage and control the operation of the maintenance function and inspections so that it operates efficiently and within the agreed budget limits.
- liase with production function to prepare and agree maintenance schedules and budgets that make optimum use of resources and minimise costs and downtime.
- appropriate support to flm’s, engineers and maintenance support team to develop skill base and motivation within the function.
- through utilities team drive the maintenance and operation of site/building services and equipment that will ensure delivery of utilities to the production areas of the plant to maximum efficiency and safety.
- pro-actively promotes and drives ‘continuous improvement’ concepts and principles in all areas of manufacturing and engineering (e.g. improved te, mtbf, mttr)
- manages the maintenance and internal/external regulatory requirements for scheduled inspection and maintenance activities on site
- ensures budgetary control across maintenance activities in line with all standards and protocols
- maximise technical availability and asset reliability across site by effectively leading, promoting and introducing analytical problem solving techniques to maximise overall effectiveness: kpi improvements within planning and condition monitoring; improved technical capability; etc.
- knowledge in manufacturing 4.0 (smart manufacturing)
*environmental management system*
- compliance with the environmental policy and with the necessary activities for the implementation and maintenance of the environmental management system.
- perform the necessary actions to implement and maintain the gehsms.
- define the pertinent changes to the gehsms to make it more efficient and improve it.
- evaluate compliance with legal requirements.
- train the gehsms internal audit team.

- communicate adequately with their collaborators the issues related to food safety.
Qualifications:
