objective of the role:
as the omnichannel retail media senior manager, you will spearhead the strategy and execution of el palacio de hierro’s omnichannel retail media initiatives. This role focuses on leveraging data-driven insights and advanced technologies to optimize the integration of media strategies across digital and physical touchpoints, driving revenue growth and elevating customer engagement. You will oversee campaigns spanning email, websites, apps, in-store digital displays, social media, programmatic advertising, and sales associate apps, ensuring seamless integration and performance across channels. Your leadership will drive the alignment of retail media strategies with business objectives, contributing to an incremental impact of mxn $550 million by 2025 and mxn $1 billion by 2026.
key responsibilities:
* develop retail media strategies: lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive omnichannel retail media strategy for all business units, ensuring seamless customer experiences across email, social media, in-store digital assets, apps, and websites.
* campaign management: oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media campaigns that leverage data-driven insights to improve targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
* data-driven personalization: collaborate with technology and data teams to integrate customer data platforms (cdps) and predictive analytics, ensuring advanced audience segmentation and personalized media delivery in real time.
* media performance analysis: implement robust a/b testing and multichannel performance analysis strategies to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and refine approaches to maximize return on investment (roi).
* retail media monetization: partner with suppliers and brands to expand retail media monetization opportunities, creating co-branded campaigns that enhance customer value while meeting partner objectives.
* technology adoption: drive the adoption of cutting-edge marketing technologies, including programmatic advertising platforms, artificial intelligence (ai), and automation tools, to optimize media planning and execution.
* cross-functional collaboration: work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and analytics teams to align retail media efforts with overarching business goals and customer experience strategies.
* performance metrics: establish advanced key performance indicators (kpis) to measure the impact of retail media strategies on conversions, retention, sales uplift, and customer lifetime value (clv) growth.
* stay ahead of trends: keep abreast of emerging retail media trends and best practices, incorporating innovative techniques and strategies to enhance el palacio de hierro’s competitive edge.
requirements:
education:
* bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, data science, or a related field.
work experience:
* 5-7 years of experience in leadership roles within digital marketing or retail media, ideally in the retail or ecommerce sector.
* proven track record in managing omnichannel media campaigns and leveraging data for strategic decisions.
languages:
* intermediate to advanced proficiency in english.
specific knowledge and skills:
* expertise in analytics and data tracking tools such as google analytics, adobe analytics, or equivalent.
* advanced understanding of retail media platforms, programmatic advertising, and paid social media strategies.
* exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
* creativity and a forward-thinking approach to conceptualizing and executing retail media campaigns.
certifications or additional skills (preferred):
* experience with customer data platforms (cdps) and other personalization technologies.
* familiarity with emerging ai-driven marketing tools and omnichannel platforms.
