we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive administrative manager to oversee and optimize the administrative operations of our organization in mexico. This role requires a skilled leader with expertise in compliance, team management, budgeting, and strategic resource planning. The administrative manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes while upholding legal and regulatory standards and fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders.
*key responsibilities*:
- *operational oversight*:
- manage and oversee all administrative functions, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
- develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline administrative processes and improve organizational effectiveness.
- *budget and expense management*:
- prepare, analyze, and submit accurate monthly budget and expense reports to senior management.
- monitor financial performance against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational quality.
- *regulatory compliance*:
- ensure compliance with maquiladora regulations and all applicable mexican legal and statutory requirements.
- collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory updates and ensure adherence to new guidelines.
- *team leadership and development*:
- build and lead a high-performing administrative team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- provide leadership training and development opportunities to key team members, empowering them to take on greater responsibilities.
- *vendor and stakeholder relations*:
- act as the primary representative for the organization in interactions with vendors, government entities, and external stakeholders in mexico.
- negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and values.
- *strategic resource planning*:
- identify and secure resources essential to the organization’s operations, including land/building availability, trade programs, and certifications.
- research and recommend initiatives to support business growth and operational efficiency.
*qualifications*:
- bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- proven experience in administrative management, preferably within a maquiladora or similar regulatory environment.
- strong understanding of mexican legal requirements and compliance standards.
- demonstrated success in team leadership, including training and professional development of team members.
- excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and expense reporting.
- exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- strategic thinker with the ability to identify and implement resourceful solutions for business needs.
