all adjustments, changes, modifications, or adaptations necessary to achieve compliance with customer specifications and/or product/process tolerances must be made through an engineering change request (ecr). The engineer will be responsible for creating said request, coordinating under the support of the engineering change coordinator, and guaranteeing, together with the team involved (technical planning, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, production engineers, and suppliers), that the changes are implemented once approved.
