amazon business is seeking a talented and innovative international art director to develop and manage style guides and creative assets for our emerging markets, including mexico, canada, and beyond.
this role will be instrumental in creating evergreen assets and supporting high-velocity events (hves) tailored to these regions, all while collaborating with a dynamic global creative team and agency partners.
key job responsibilitiesdevelop and maintain style guides and graphics for emerging international markets.create visually compelling assets for both evergreen campaigns and high-profile events.collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to deliver impactful creative solutions.manage and execute projects across multiple international markets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and local market needs.partner closely with amazon's global creative teams to drive innovation and consistency.stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve creative processes and outputs.a day in the lifethis person would sit on the amazon business (ab) creative team and work with our international expansion (ix) team.
they would partner with that team to understand the creative needs and align them to the ab brand identity.
they will need to work with external agency partners to bring their concepts and the ab brand to life and ensure a high-bar of creative is being produced.
they would work with the other creatives on ab to understand areas they could collaborate or partner together to share learnings and ensure a cohesive ab visual presence.

we partner with all-up amazon branding team to ensure we align with other amazon brands but have a lot of autonomy within our world.
the team has project managers, other creative leads, and video leads and we pride ourselves on being collaborative and inclusive.

minimum requirements4+ years of experience in art direction, preferably within an advertising agency or in-house creative team.proficiency in design tools such as adobe creative cloud (photoshop, illustrator, indesign), figma, and powerpoint.a portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative skills, brand and customer understanding, and a history of successful art direction and visual design.spoken language fluency in spanish.experience managing large-scale design projects and coordinating with international teams.conceptual thinking, presentation, and storytelling skills.excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.self-motivated, highly collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.a data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to inform and enhance creative decisions.experience working on international campaigns and managing relationships with stakeholders across different time zones.amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several us geographic markets.
the base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
